Alice Blue

Cleveland, 1969-70

pic

Alice Blue included guitarist Cy Sulak, bassist Mike Solarz, and drummer Jerry Shumaker. They recorded a few songs and had two very limited 45s pressed at Boddie in 1970. The songs were incorrectly credtited to Steve Solarz, although written by Mike. "Mr. Devil" and "Baby Goodbye" are both good post-garage pre-hard rock songs. The first one seems to be a very limted pressing.

The band was around for about a year, late 1969 to late 1970. Sulak and Solarz changed the band to Cargo. Jerry Shumaker was in Scarecrow and Freewheelin'.
