Desperation Street Band

Cincinnati, 1972

pic

This band appears to be a short lived band, of two people. They recorded a 45 for the Counterpart offshoot label Snuff records. Walter Kuebler is the songwriter. This is more in the novelty pop-rock sound, something right in Shad O'Shea's territory.

Walter Kuebler is credited a couple times backing up singer Wendy Vickers around the same time the record was released. He was playing bass for one occasion. Another gig had him paired with Ed O'Donnell. Maybe they are the two in the picture.
