Janet Stewart

Montreal, Canada, mid 1960s

pic

Janet Stewart was a nightclub singer who made a 45 on the Suburban label. On the record she is backed by the Faux Pas III, who owned the short lived (2 releases) label.

She was from Montreal but did some club residencies in the US, with one at the Yankee Clipper Inn during March and April, 1966. During her Ohio stay she recorded the 45 at Cleveland Recording, at the same session where the Faux Pas III recorded their 45 on Suburban.

There are no other NE Ohio shows listed for Janet who travelled from Canadian coast to coast during the mid 1960s. She doesn't seem to have made any other records.
