Love For Dollars and Cents were a Cleveland soul group. They started in the early 1970s and performed until 1980, at least.

The group was mentored by Lou Ragland. He produced their only 45 and released it on his Co Co Cleveland label.

According to an interview with Lou, the members were Roland Heard, Ruben Chaney, and Anthony Smith. They were high school age when they started. The record was recorded and released in 1972.

There's no mention of them in the local papers until 1975. They were playing local clubs through 1980. The ad posted shows four members, we don't know if they were the three mentioned plus a new member.

Hopefully more information can be found.
