Montarays

Dayton, late 1960s

A mystery band who recorded a 45 of two instrumental funk songs. The band is pretty tight and the guitar is the prominent instrument, with sharp horn parts. The mispelling of the name is the way it reads on the label so we don't know if it was intended or not.  Unfortunately there are no credits on the record and nothing in copyright files.  The Opus label is related to Bob Tauber and the ALRS studio in Dayton.
