I played in a band called Pawn and we played the Stables (in Painesville) on Friday nights in 1978-79. I remember the fire marshall turning people away at the door because of overcrowding. We had a cool stage show with flashboxes, smoke, strobes and a lead singer, Barry Anthony, that dressed in costumes when we played certain songs. He wore a pig mask and wild clothes when we did Pink Floyd's Pigs among other costumes. We had a girl singer Sally Olsen who went on to win the talent part of the Miss Ohio pageant. She ended up touring with the USO entertaining troops. Lead guitar was Bill Kincaid, a left handed terror on his Les Paul. Dave Coonce on bass. Frank Kolasinski on an unbelievably large drum set. Rick Havas on keyboards, which were stacked to the ceiling, Keith Emerson beware.

All of the band get together and jam and reminisce about playing the Agora, the Stables, Cleveland State and many other hot spots
