Purgatory

Dayton, 1970

Another band whose only known history is a currently untraceable record.

The record in question is a QCA press from 1970 and since a few used copies were found in Dayton, that seems to be place of origin. The band name seems to be Purgatory but even that is not obvious, as Purgatory could be the label name. The band name would fit the sound, which is heavy rock in the style of the Doors/Steppenwolf/Iron Butterfly, with a lighter vocal.

The writer credits are Parker, Fannin, and Robert Davis
