Steubenville/Weirton, WV, 1970s

1974 ad, the

Ronny Rich was the peforming name for Ronnie Puskarich. He was from Weirton, although the Steubenville newspaper mentions he was from there. The two cities are just across the river so he could have lived in both places.

There are several ads for him performing around the area from 1973 to 1976. He moved to Florida at one time, not sure if it was around 1976 or later.

Ronny recorded two 45s within a year or so, both self released. The first one uses the B-W publishing and number sequence, after B-W was sold and relocated to Wheeling, WV, He is credited solely as Ronny. The record has an early 1970s pop-rock sound like Bobby Goldsboro/

His second came out around mid 1974. A few gigs at the time mention Ronny as a recording artist.
