Teaspoon and Peanut Race


Sandusky, 1968-70

All evidence points to this unusually named band as being from Sandusky. Unfortunately, all attempts to contact the credited songwriter have turned up nothing. 

As far as we know, they only made one 45 on the CEI label, recorded by Bob Brown in Fremont. 

The A side is a psych-pop arrangement of the song that was hit by the Searchers. The other side seems to be a band original.
