the Three Dukes

Cleveland, late 1940s-1950s

The Three Dukes were Ronnie Feskanin (piano), Vince Tancredi (drums), and John DePalma (bass).  Ronnie was from the Avon/Elyria area.

There were no listings for them in the Cleveland newspapers. Ronnie Feskanin was mentioned a few times playing in a trio, or on his own.

They made a record for Triple A in 1953, released on 45 and 78. The A side is "Hey Mrs. Jones", a jazz/R&B standard recorded many times. The other side is piano boogie-woogie styled instrumental.

While the group didn't have much presence, locally, Vince Tancredi and John DePalma played in bands in the 1960s and 70s, all nightclub jazz or easy listening. Ronnie Feskanin's son Ronnie Jr. also played in a club band, the Bosa Nostra, in the late 1970s
