Hilliard 1964-7
Top band in Hilliard at the time. Consisted of Norm Hedman – Drums, Gary Tucker – Rhythm Guitar, Bob Butz – Lead Guitar Back Up Vocals, Bill Butz – Bass and Lead Vocals.
Their managers, DJ Productions, was the same managers for The Dantes. This being the case they got a lot of bookings across the state. Played a lot in Mansfield at the Inferno and the Snow Trails Ski Resort. In Newark they played the Grotto, In Columbus they played the Vets Memorial, Sugar Shack, and opened for the Kingsmen at Valley Dale.
In the fall of 1966 the band went to Cleveland to record a demo. They recorded around seven songs. Unfortunately the band never got a copy of the session. They seem to believe the managers got the only copy as they paid for the session.
The band called it quits in 1967 when Bill went into the Army and the others went off to college.
