the Wahoos/Attica Wahoos

The Wahoos were an offshoot from the Holes in the Road. The band included Doug Thomas (lead vocals), Gary McCoy (lead guitar), Ron Klos (lead guitar), Bill Lohr (bass), and Jim Sullivan (drums). Thomas and McCoy had been in the Holes in the Road.

"The Wahoos (also known as the Attica Wahoos) had a loyal following in Warren, Youngstown, Kent, and Akron. They were known for doing comtemporary rock songs accentuated with searing dual lead guitar parts and blending three part harmonies" (Ron Klos). The band did not make any recordings.
