Chantells

Cleveland, late 60s

The Chantells were a soul girl group. The only details we know is that the recorded the song "World Of Soul" which was intended to be the theme song for the Ken Hawkins' World Of Soul TV show. It's a mostly instrumental song with some shouts of "World of Soul", credited to Tom Boddie. The other side, an uptempo funky soul vocal, was credited to L. J. Hudson.
