Cheaters

Cincinnati, 1966

It's not clear if the Cheaters were a real band or just a session. A little info on the record was found in the Counterpart files, the record was probably cut at the beginning of Counterpart so Shad O'Shea got the record leased to the Sims label from Nashville.

The sound on the record is greaser rock, tri-state style. One side is a cover of Phil Gary's "Bobby Lane"
