Doc Peabody

Cleveland, mid-late 1970s

The story behind Doc Peabody is really known to us. The lead singer on the record is Clarence Reed - a different person than Clarence "Blowfly" Reid of Miami. He/they made one 45 for Cleveland's Both Sides label, which was run by John Brinson. The 45 is by far the rarest on the label and is much in demand by international collectors.

The record also lists Tony Little Sr. as producer and the song is credited to R. Little.
