Elrondos / El Rondos

SW Ohio?, 1961-2

The Elrondos, or El Rondos, are a mystery group. They were likely from the SW Ohio/tristate area, as their 45 was recorded at King and is published by the King records Lois publishing.

The record, which is a rock-ish instrumental, was released first as the Elrondos on the Marathon label, pressed by King, and then as the El Rondos on the Capri label, a Columbia custom press. The credit on the Marathon press is James W. Culp, and the Capri record credits Culp and Ternavan.

There seems to be nothing to be found about them in the newspapers nor the trade publications.
