Jerri Jackson

Cincinnati, late 60s-early 70s

Jerri had been a member of the Charmaines before going solo. She worked with Cincy producer Don Litwin, who paired her with another one of his artists, the Sacred Mushroom. This seemingly odd pairing (a Motown styled soul singer with a psych-blues band) produced a couple interesting 45s for Parallax records, same label as the Mushroom.

In addition to Litwin, another Cincinnati name, Randy Edelman, was credited. The writer's name for all 4 songs was Tao, a pseudonym for the Sacred Mushroom and Litwin.

After the two 45s, we don't know of any more recordings for Ms Jackson.
