Mustangs

Columbus, 1965-6

The Mustangs were 15-16 year old teens from the South High School area. The singer was Roger Grizzell.

The band recorded a 45 at Chad Baugess' studio, one side a cover of the Beatles' "I Feel Fine". The other side is more interesting, a teen garage take on the song "Snooty Friends" which they got from the 4 Knights (who got it from the original recording by the Carians). The record doesn't list a label but it's part of the B+4 label.

The band wasn't together for that long, as a couple members, including Roger, formed the Worrying Kind.
