the Three Guys

Cleveland, 1960

The Three Guys were students at Lutheran West High School. The members were Ron Bakalar, Robert Puls, and William Puls. They recorded a couple songs, likely at Audio, and thanks to efforts of the their producer Al Russ and manager Don Roush, the songs were played on WERE.

The A side was their version of the standard "Where Or When", and the B side "Not Yet", a more teen appealing uptempo sound, was credited to Roush and T. Mull.

According to a newspaper story, the response was so good from the WERE audience the songs were placed on the Clown label from NYC. The record was not a national hit.
