the Trohls / Quantrill Raiders

Middleburg Heights/Cleveland, 1965-8

This band of high school students included three brothers. Gaining a large following (including future Dead Boy Jimmy Zero) in the local dance scene, they changed their name from the Trohls to the Quantrill Raiders just before recording their lone 45.

The 45 was recorded at Audio and released on Tema. They recorded a Baskerville Hounds song "Sad Eyed Lady" and the original "I'm Going" - both sides excellent teen garage.
