Westfauster

Cincinnati, 1970-71

There isn't much info available to us about this Cincinnati band. The leader was Charles West (C. W.) Fauster, who played keyboards. Mike Newland Havlin played winds (sax, flute) and Steve Helwig (double duty while also in Haymarket Riot) played drums. They recorded one LP for Nasco records out of Nashville and were managed by A.Jaye. The LP is an interesting mix of progressive and post-psychedelic influences.
