Whalefeathers

Cincinnati, 1968-73

One of Cincinnati's biggest bands of the late 60s and early 70s, they recorded two LPs and several singles for the Nashville based Nasco label. The band's sound was bluesy hard rock.

The band included Michael Jones (guitar), Mike Wheeler (guitar), Lenny LeBlanc (bass), Stephen Bacon (drums), and Eddie Blackmon (organ). Earlier members included Don Hacker (bass) and Roger Sauer (bass).

Whalefeathers played shows with many of the touring rock bands of the time.

After Whalefeathers disbanded, Mike Wheeler formed Wheels.
